RIT to host Native Innovation Day

The Rochester Institute of Technology’s Native American Future Stewards Program will host a Native Innovation Day celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Student Innovation Hall on the RIT campus, 1 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester.

The event will feature a keynote address by Jane Pleasant, associate professor in the Department of Horticulture and director of the American Indian program at Cornell University. In addition to faculty presentations and a student brainstorming session about the White Corn Project, several RIT students will share research results.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For more information, call 585-475-6446.
