Joseph Makarewicz will continue the free Tuesday Topics series with “How Clean is Our Water? A Checkup on Local Waterways” from 12:12 to 12:52 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, 115 South Ave., Rochester.
Makarewicz, distinguished professor emeritus of environmental science and biology at The College at Brockport, will explain how industrialization and agriculture have contributed to water pollution in different ways.
