Rochester Association of Performing Arts Family Theatre will present “Hansel and Gretel” at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 4-5 and Feb. 11-12 at Kodak Center for the Performing Arts, 200 W. Ridge Road, Rochester.

This version of the Brothers Grimm tale tells the story of White Bird and the Gnome, who fall under the spell of the Wicked Witch and are forced to lure children deep into the forest so the witch can eat them. When Hansel and Gretel go berry picking in the woods, the children may become the witch’s next victims.

William Glennon adapted the story for the stage. The show is directed by actress and playwright Adele Fico, who most recently starred in RAPA’s production of “In the Heights.” The cast features a range of professional adult actors and youth performers. Audience members can meet the characters after the show for photos and autographs.

Tickets cost $20 for adults, $18 for students and senior citizens and $10 for ages 12 and younger.
