The American Society of Landscape Architects has announced the winners of its design awards for the year.
Nine awards will be given at an awards ceremony Jan. 20 at the Rochester Plaza Hotel. The winners were selected from 29 applications from across the state.

- HAAS Landscape Architects, for Excellence in the Built Design category.
- Peter J. Smith and Company, in the Planning and Analysis category, as well as two merit awards for Unbuilt Design and Research Historic Preservation and Communication.
- Environmental Design and Research P.C., in Build Design, and a merit award in Research Historic Preservation and Communication.
- Bayer Landscape Architecture PLLC, in the Residential Garden Design category.
- Bergmann Associates, for Build Design and Planning and Analysis.
