The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors has released its fourth-quarter and year-end residential statistics.
According to a press release, home sales for the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes region were up 5 percent in the fourth quarter compared to 2010. The sales were down 22 percent compared to the third-quarter sales total.
A total 2,243 homes were sold by area Realtors. The median sale price for these homes was $124,000, which is a 4 percent increase compared to 2010.
