The Rochester Institute of Technology recently announced that a record number of 353 researchers at RIT secured funding for fiscal year 2012.
The figure, up five percent from the previous year, includes those researchers serving as principal or co-principal investigators on active research.
Additionally, RIT recently inducted six researchers into the PI Millionaires, a designation awarded to RIT researchers who have achieved funding of $1 million or more since 2000. This year’s inductees include Belinda Bryce, Student Affairs; Denis Cormier, Kate Gleason College of Engineering; Surendra Gupta, Kate Gleason College of Engineering; Stephanie Ludi, B. Thomas Gosliano College of Computing and Information Sciences; Sean Rommel, Kate Gleason College of Engineering; and Anahita Williamson, Gosliano Institute for Sustainability.
