Kango Academy & Play Center in Henrietta collected thousands of brand new crayons and coloring books last week from area schools and donated them to the Golisano Children's Hospital and Rochester General Hospital for children who are receiving treatments.

Over 2,500 kids participated from Ginther Elementary, Hilton Village Elementary, Parkland Elementary, Nathaniel Rochester Community School, Rochester Christian, Taylor Elementary, Kirk Road Elementary, Buckman Heights, and Brownie Troop 429 in Greece.

Kango gave each child at every participating school a free pass to play at Kango Play Center, and also invited the top ten classes at participating schools that collected the most crayons and coloring books to have a free class party at Kango Play Center.
