Monroe County sheriff’s deputies have released the name of a woman killed in a crash on Route 19 in Sweden early Friday morning.
Deputies said 24-year-old Mallory M. Hale, of Sweden, was a passenger in a car driven by 21-year-old Taylor Carbonaro. Deputies said Carbonaro was drunk when he crashed his car into a truck and house on Route 19 near White Road.
Carbonaro suffered a broken femur and is currently recovering at Strong Memorial Hospital.
He was arraigned Friday on vehicular manslaughter charges from his hospital bed Friday. He will be held on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bail bond.
