The trial of two men charged with leading a major theft ring in Monroe County is expected to begin today.
Jury selection is scheduled to start in the case of Ismael Cruz and Ersin Yaman. They are charged with running a theft ring that dealt with stolen credit cards and gift cards.
Investigators said they used those cards to buy merchandise and sell them through pawn shops.
Police raids in October 2010 turned up $15 million in stolen items, investigators said.
Six other people are facing charges in connection with the theft ring.
