Rochester Hamfest and Tech Expo moving to Gordon Field House

The annual Rochester Hamfest and Tech Expo, the longest continuous running Hamfest in America, is moving to the Rochester Institute of Technology Gordon Field House, 149 Lomb Memorial Drive.

This event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 30 and is one of the largest amateur radio conventions and technology shows in the northeast.

General access to on-site parking is from Jefferson Road. A shuttle bus will bring guests from parking to the field house. Admission is $8 at the gate, and children under 16 are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Flea market sellers will find space is available both outside and inside for $5 per space.

6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.--Outdoor flea market
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.--Inside Vendor/Flea Market sales & Club exhibits open
9 a.m. to noon--Amateur Radio License Testing (No pre-registration necessary)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.--Programs and demonstrations
