Quote of note

"The dots have all been connected. Arrest George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin in killing in cold blood right now.” - Benjamin Crump, attorney for the family of Trayvon Martin, who was killed Feb. 26 when walking back to his dad’s fiancee’s house after buying some Skittles. Zimmerman, the man who said he shot Martin, has said he acted in self-defense, but Martin’s girlfriend disputes that. She was on the phone with Martin as he was being followed by Zimmerman, and she said Zimmerman stalked Martin and then apparently pushed Matin to the ground. Zimmerman has not been charged with any crime, but the Justice Department is now looking into the case.

News to know

Researchers believe they have located the plane of Amelia Earhart, who died during a trans-Pacific flight almost 75 years ago. A photo taken in 1937 was recently re-examined with high-tech photo tools, and researchers say the landing gear matches the type of plane Earhart was flying. Ric Gillespie of The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery will lead a team in July to search the area, which is near Hawaii.
