Rochester Institute of Technology associate professor Sylvia Perez-Hardy has recently been named as the recipient of the IBM Faculty Award.
The $25,000 award recognizes ongoing efforts within the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences to update offerings in regards to computing security education.
Perez-Hardy also serves as the chair of RIT’s newly formed Department of Computing Security.
